Jay,

The camp was awesome. Everything was top notch, from the pros to the food to the on-site refeshments. The mechanical support from Elliot was icing on the cake (he deserves a medal). I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I was blown away with what I received. Hopefully next time I’ll have the fitness to fully take advantage of what is offered.

Jay,

Thanks for putting on an awesome weekend of ‘cross. I’m sore and bruised but I’m a better cyclist for it. It was great to meet such a good group of guys and experience West Virginia living for a weekend. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

I am sorry to have missed this as we were on our summer vacation. Hope all is well with you.

I would def have picked this over the world cup final which was even worse than I had figured it would be, with the Dutch game degrading to thug-like and the Spanish just outlasting them until the inevitable red card came.

Jay, solid post. On why there were not enough spectators to a “Free” sporting event, keep in mind it was the same time as the World Cup final. So to most “all-around” sports fans they’d rather watch the World Cup. I’ll admit even I ended up choosing the later (but it was tougher decision for me).

One of my favorite things about the messenger gigs was seeing the city in color – seeing all the characters out there. Lie the man with the ties, and the nature boy guy. Thanks for the updates about them and city life at large.
